European Researchers’ Nights are public events dedicated to bringing researchers closer to the public. They showcase the diversity of research and highlight the impact of research on our daily lives. The aim is also to motivate young people to embark on research careers. The events promote how researchers contribute to our society by displaying their work in an interactive and engaging forum.
A poster and a short video describing HYBUILD was placed in the “Europe’s Corner” tab on the webpage of the event, as well as two posters acknowledging HYBUILD in the “La nostra recerca” (“Our research”) tab.
Moreover, a roll-up about the project was located at the “Europe’s corner” physical space at the University of Lleida, dedicated to the EU projects in which the University of Lleida is involved.
Additionally, an event was organised by UDL on 25 September in Almatret, with the support of the Almatret municipality, where Gabriel Zsembinszki explained the facilities that the University of Lleida has installed in Almatret, one of them being the HYBUILD demo.
The participants had the opportunity to get in touch with European research and know more about the new technologies and the current challenges that the actual research is dealing with in different subjects. To enhance the engagement with the visitors of the webpage and the on-site participants, the posters, videos, and face-to-face explanations were done in Catalan or Spanish.
